Helping you get that Phase II SBIR/STTR award – Improve Your SBIR Proposal

If you have already received Phase I SBIR Grant Funding, hopefully you’ve read our “Free Guide: 40 Ways to Improve your SBIR proposal” (if not, get your copy!).  If you have, you remember that many of the mistakes that I observed were in Phase II proposals!  So these are teams who had received Phase I funding, and in general the technology was good and the Phase I’s had been successful, but they cost themselves the Phase II award due to mistakes or unforced errors!

SBIR is only part of the FundingOn average, half of Phase I awardees receive Phase II funding, but if you make unnecessary mistakes, it can cost you, even if your technology is great and you’ve got a winning team.

Just because you’ve won a Phase I proposal, doesn’t mean that you can’t benefit from experienced reviewer help.  You may even be receiving TABA help, and it can really help, but TABA consultants are not generally reviewers.

If you haven’t gone through our SBIR course, Develop a Winning SBIR Strategy – Insights From The Review Process, I invite you to do so.  Remember that my insights as an experienced reviewer of many, many proposals gives YOU an advantage as you prepare your Phase II proposal.  If you want more in depth help, either a proposal review or help developing your proposal, we do offer one on one VentureWrench SBIR Coaching.  Email us at venturewrenchcommunity [at] gmail.com for more details on various packages, or custom coaching.
